First let me say that I have 3 dogs, a toy poodle, a shih tzu, and a long hair chihuahua --- all three have my heart.

Before I adopted my shih tzu I had a schnauzer, great dog and a funny story to tell but I will save for another day. Unfortunately,  'Patrick' developed a heart condition and from the time he was diagnosed and the time he passed was only one week. Didn't give me a chance to prepare for that horrible day.

After about a year I read about a new breed of dog, a Snorkie. Did some research, looked at pictures and fell in love almost immediately.

If you have read my blog 'Sucks to be Broke' you know that money is tight in my household. The Snorkie isn't cheap but I still kept on looking on Craigslist. To my surprise I found one after only about a week of searching...and she was F R E E ! ~music to my ears~ :-) 

The owner was being transferred and had to find a home for Sammie ASAP. Met her, fell in love at first sight and the rest is history. I will  post each day my new adventures with my new friend.
