Found Out What Made Sammie The Snorkie Sick

I found out what made my Sammie ill. The week I got Sammie my neighbor (who had well intentions) brought over a brand new bag of Wagon Train Chicken Jerky Tenders. I have purchased them on occasion in the past myself but because they are a little expensive it wasn't too often.

Never had any problems with giving them to my dogs but....Sammie, of course, loved them as well as the other dogs. I broke the jerky in half (to make the bag last longer) and I have to say Snorkie had her share of them. 

I was surfing the net and came across the Wagon Train recall which I wasn't aware of. Seems they are now made in CHINA!! There was lots and lots of people writing in that their dogs were severely ill after eating the treats and some have even died! One writer said that her dogs suffered kidney damage and will not live as long as they should.

My neighbor bought the treats at WalMart, and it's also sold at Cosco and Target.

Please do not feed them to your dog if you have some on hand and return it to where you purchased them.
