I love my iPod, love the ease of use, the sound, just everything about it. Put the headsets in my ears and I can tune out the hubby which is so worth the price of the iPod. lol I am also very fussy about the way my music sounds and have been shopping around for some great speakers to play the iPod.

Came home from Best Buy and couldn't wait to hook up the iPod and groove to the tunes. Besides being fussy about the way my music sounds, I also like to turn the volume waaay up. 

Sammie heard my music (60's-80's) and she absolutely went nuts. She moaned, barked, cried and growled till I turned it off!  I assumed she didn't like the noise and that it hurt her ears...wrong.

Dear old Aunt Betty came over when she heard that I had new speakers for my iPod. Seems that 'old' Aunt Betty has been holding out on us and bought herself an iPod Nano when they first came out. Who would have thought? Anyway, she asked if she could play her iPod on my new speakers to hear how her music sounded. Now I wasn't expecting Boy George to come from her iPod, but maybe Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin? Nope....opera ! ugh.

But here is the sad part, traitor Sammie loved it!! No howling, crying or running out the pet door. Now when I play my music I have to play Aunt Betty's opera first.....then Sammie is okay listening to my music.

Of all things...opera. Even Boy George would have been better. . . sigh.
