SAMMIE THE SNORKIE-BEHAVIOR, Oh Oh....

 Hello All

Today I would like to talk about Sammie's traits and behavior that are kin to the Snorkies.
Sometimes too smart for her own good. lol
Sammie is funny, loving, very smart/curious, great watch dog, loyal and very eager to please.
She discovered my bedspread in the guest bedroom had a small hole at the bottom. Apparently Sammie felt that there was too much stuffing in that particular spread so she was kind enough to remove about half of it. :-D  Needless to say the door to the guest bedroom now stays closed.

I visited RIYorkies.com and pasted below what they had to say about the Snorkies. Sammie pretty much fits their description:

A Snorkie is a Yorkie Miniature Schnauzer. I explained the Yorkie breed above. Miniature Schnauzers are a great cross to a Yorkie! This is mainly why we chose this breed cross. A Mini Schnauzer has long hair/fur that is dander free. They grow to be between 6-9 pounds at best.

Snorkie behavior:

Snorkies are gentle and like attention. They are eager to please and because of this, they are very easy to train. See our training section for details and ideas! Snorkies love to be pet and also love to play. They are medium energy and love sleep as much as they love play. These dogs have a very easy way of giving trust to other dogs, children, elderly and most anyone who comes across them.  These dogs are also easily maintained. They do have energy and can burn it off simply playing and running. If you have an apartment..this may be the type of dog you want. Large dogs can’t handle a small place to run. But these guys love it!

Snorkie Grooming:

The same grooming rules apply for a Snorkie as they do for a Yorkie. The fur is slightly different, but still long and needs to be brushed at least every other day so they will not get knots.
