SAMMIE THE SNORKIE-HER DICTIONARY

Hello Everyone!


Ever wonder how a dog interprets our words when we are talking to them? They look at you, head tilted to the side and it seems as though they are trying to understand you....

I've had Sammie about a month now and here is my take on what I think she thinking as she is listening to what I have to say to her.

Wastebasket: "Don't touch, Sammie". 

                                     
Sammie's understanding - This is a huge dog toy filled with cool stuff, paper, candy wrappers..lots of things to shred apart and maybe even eat. Turn it over, play with it, and spread everything around the entire house.....

"Time for your bath, Sam."

Sammie's take - a time for my owner to get soaked (wet t-shirt contest time) and drench the floor, walls and my human friend. Found out if I shake myself really hard and frequently makes my owner scream for joy. 


Thunder and Lightning - "It's ok Sammie, it's just a little noise."

 Sammie's take - A little noise? It sounds like the world is coming to an end. I need to warn her somehow...I know, I will pant, shake, roll my eyes and follow her in every room she goes in.


Dogs...you just gotta luv um. :-D
