SAMMIE THE SNORKIE-PUDDLES THE POODLE

Hello Everyone

For those of you who have been following my Sammie The Snorkie adventures, you will recall in my very first post mentioning my other 3 pets. The oldest, Puddles, a Toy Poodle, is 13 and a half years old. She is as smart and prissy as a Poodle should be. 

These last months she has been moving a little slower and probably taking a few extra naps during the day than she has in the past. Every once in a while she will get a burst of energy and tease Sammie The Snorkie, maybe even run around the kitchen table with Sammie once or twice. 

Puddles sleeps on my bed at night, and has been my 'security blanket' while I sleep. :-) She has kidneys the size of Wyoming and can hold it like forever. 

Well, last night she jumped off the bed and started to poop on the carpet in the bedroom. She has never done that, ever. 

Then today while I was fixing up the food for the dogs, Puddles, who is always the first one there, stayed on her window seat (see pic above) and was not even interested in eating.

I am so hoping that she just has an upset stomach and will be back to her old self again. You know that I am thinking the worst, that the years are starting to catch up with her......a thought that has been in the back of my mind these last couple of years...a thought I don't even want to think about ......
