SAMMIE THE SNORKIE - NAP TIME

Sammie has her own routine when it comes to bedtime. I have put a old towel in her bed because she likes to snuggle under them, especially on these cool nights we are now having. Sam is so funny when it comes to going to bed. She works so hard too make a bed in her towel. Sammie the Snorkie scratches and bites and walks around until she is satisfied that everything is where it should be. And then she just plops down anywhere but where she has made her bed. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of putting all of that energy into getting it 'just right'...but who am I to argue? 

So I bought her one of those hammock beds for dogs and so far she seems to like it.

Another weird thing she does is when Sam wakes up from her naps she drags her feet with her front paws on her stomach like she is stretching to get up to play, but instead plops down again. Then she does it one more time.

 

What is the point of all this? I really don't know. It looked kind of fun to try so last night me and the hubby are in bed and before I turned the lights off I started to ruffle up the blankets, puff them up then push them down again with my hand. All the while hubby is staring at me like I have completely lost my mind.

We slept in separate rooms that night.
