We were invited up to the in-laws lake house
for a couple of days to celebrate Christmas with his side of the family. I just want you all to know that poor Aunt Betty is from his side and she is the less weirder one of the family. So you can just imagine how the rest of his family is. I'm just saying.....
Anyway, they have a lake and boat dock on their property and Sammie the Snorkie decided she wanted to go for a swim. I've never seen Sam swim, didn't even know if she could swim but in she went anyway. Now keep in mind I don't know how to swim so Sammie is totally on her own on this one.
Sam got into the water up to about her neck and sat there with her back legs floating out behind her with this look on her face that she is in absolute heaven.
She doesn't swim or paddle or does anything. Just sits there and watches everyone on the shore watching her. Weird dog.....
Later on that evening I took a shower, put on a robe and joined everyone in the den. Apparently I didn't dry my legs good enough for Sam because she decided to try and lick my legs dry.
Now Sammie has never done that before and I was just as shocked as all those who were watching...especially poor old Aunt Betty. The more I tried moving away from Sam the more Sam tried to angle herself to lick the leg. Finally had to put on some long pj's so she would leave me alone.
After a while we all got the munchies so Aunt Betty went and got some potato chips. Sammie sat there with her mouth wide open and started drooling all over poor Aunt Betty.
I am talking about some serious drool here people. It was kind of gross cause it was dribbling on me and felt disgusting.
Aunt Betty was just beside herself,
Sammie sat there and finished up the chips and I headed back to the shower.
Can't take Sammie anywhere. lol
