SAMMIE THE SNORKIE-GUARDING THE CHRISTMAS TREE

Hello Everyone

This is Sammie's first Christmas with us and I have discovered she likes to guard our tree.

I think she likes the lights and does not want to share her space with our 3-year-old shih Tzu. She lays and sleeps under the tree. No presents can go under it because she thinks they are hers.

Sam will not sleep anywhere else while the tree is up but under it. I have tried, even bribing her with a cookie bone..nope, she ain't movin.

Even brought out one of the hubby's old smelly socks that Sammie loves to play with, not even that worked.

The only time she leaves the tree is to do her business outside or eat. After she's done it's right back to her spot under the tree. 

Heck, poor old Aunt Betty couldn't even get Sammie the Snorkie to come to her. She called and called but Sam ignored her. Well, except for the time Aunt Betty let one rip while she was on the couch. Now normally that will get Sammie going but all she did was left her head up, sniff the air, look at Aunt Betty and lay back down again. 

I am going to try one more thing...going to WalMart to buy those disgusting 'pig ears'  that Sam loves so much. Now if that doesn't get her to move from the tree, I guess she'll be there till New Years Day.
